I'm awkward. You're awkward. Difference is that I care slightly less.

As I almost pat myself on the back for being the smartest person in my classes this semester, I remind myself that I am currently writing a blog on a Saturday night, with only a slightly depressed dog as my companion. I could be studying (NERD) or call friends in which I hope are inebriated and try and have a conversations with but... priorities.

Because the lack of friends in the area, and the lack of effort to make friends in the area, I have taken to doing things alone. In my discovery of single adult female (without cats... yet), there is a definite scale of awkwardness to certain activities. Here are my rankings from least awkward to most awkward...

9. Studying (I've always this viewed as a solitary activity)
8. Shopping
7. Seeing a movie (which is recommended if you are embarrassed for wanting to said movie) (not me and seeing From Justin to Kelly... in the 11th grade)
6. Going to a concert (gets less awkward as the show goes on and you realize no one cares)
5. Eating at fast food place (which is less than..)
4. Eating at a sit down restaurant (which is less than...)
3. Eating Brunch
2. Romantic Walks on the canal (its just not as fun conversing with myself)
1. Couples therapy (this is just my attempt at humor)

Note: If you can't spot the weird awkward person at any event, sad to say that person is you. (or me in most cases)

PIE chart!

I need more blog post ideas.

I want sharing!
