FALLing into the season, or what I like to call dresses with cardigans season

Today I bought my brother a 20 dollar Star Wars costume. TWENTY DOLLARS! I know what you are thinking... I'm RICH. Like buying fancy (fancy) bread- rich, filling my car with premium- rich, eating a full three meals kind of rich. What can I say, I'm living the easy life now a days. Or... Not.

Anyway, with adjusting to being employed and balancing all the responsibilities I don't actually have, I've made some observations about life.

Why is it that WHAT I want never matches WHEN I want it?

I found a purple bowtie. Four years ago I scoured the city of Chicago for a purple bowtie for my roommate. Today, there it was just mocking me in my random need to spend money. A few months ago every store had a mustard yellow cardigan, it was like they sold no other color sweater than this mustard sweater. This week I thought it would a nice addition to my current dress collection and could not find mustard sweater anywhere!
Oh and hey brain, do what I want. Need to sleep the whole night? Brain says, "lets get up at 3AM." Need to stay up til 7AM brain shuts down... like the US government.

Back to the topic at hand... if there is any such thing. A fashion observation from someone who is not fashionable.
Can we stop or at least give it a rest on the knee high boots.
You know who made knee/thigh high boots really popular? Prostitutes.
And also you don't ride horses, stop wearing riding boots.

I kid (kind of) but when did boots become the signal for fall. Can't we make... any other fashion thing fall. The colors, scarves, cable knitting OR what I really prefer football and drinking.

CHARTS!

Is this funny or weird?

The Great Time Suck

With all this extra free time that suddenly appeared in my life, I have been analyzing the amount of time I spend doing absolutely nothing all. Let me tell you, it is A LOT. And I have no excuses for it anymore because school is done, no social life, and currently my favorite hobby is laying in bed with a stack of books. Which is what I would tell people if they ask, because my real favorite hobby is being on my old Mac looking for entertaining things on the internet.

So some things about me that I've noticed.

The amount of status updates that I post in no way reflect the actual amount of time I spend on FB.

I spend extraordinarily more time on my own profile than looking at anyone else's.

The people who contact me most on FB are the same 3-5 people I contact most in real life.

I get way more LIKES on posts if they involve drinking.

But in good news (or sad news), I watch a lot Youtube videos. And I don't mean funny cat playing the piano or sneezing panda videos. Though they are really entertaining. But videos that are educational in humorous ways, or mini movies in 9 minutes, and a shockingly large amount of makeup tutorials. It helps me live vicariously through other humans who feel the need to project their lives on the internet.

CHART time!

What do normal gainfully employed people do with all their free time? I really want to know.
